The ScarA Story by Mara-JNikki has just been dumped by her very first boyfriend, Lucas. He leaves her for another girl and leaves Nikki in pieces. Nikki must now cope with her life without Lucas. She had a scar…not externally on
her body, nor physically, but emotionally in her heart. For the first time in
Nikki’s life, her very first boyfriend had left her. Her boyfriend’s name was
Lucas, and he had left her for another girl whom she had loathed all her life. She
felt alone and crushed…as soon as she heard the words, “I’m leaving you.” That
scar had been permanently formed on her heart that day. All she was able to think about for
weeks was Lucas. Lucas was a big part of her life, and he crushed her for good.
Being able to see him and his new girlfriend, Ann, together made her feel like
nothing. Nikki didn’t know what to do to fix everything. None of the other guys
liked her, and she had talked to her friends about it all the time but they
were no good. She had to find a way to either fix it, or just move on. After a long, sleepless night of
thinking, Nikki had come up with an answer. She got ready for school and
hurried onto the bus. She kept wondering about her plan through the bus ride
and started questioning herself with, “Is this a good idea?” and “Will this
work?” Of course! It had to! She walked into school and right up to where Lucas
and Ann were. She stared right at Lucas, while he looked at her with a
skeptical look. Then she slapped him across the face and said, “I sure hope
you’re happy with what you’ve done to me!” Lucas was shocked. He then said to
her, “Nikki, what the heck are you doing? I’m with Ann now. Don’t get so
jealous.” Nikki was furious. All she wanted to do was go along with her plan
and beat him. But, she thought about it again and thought, “No…that’s not right
to do to Lucas.” She just walked away and said nothing else. And after her high
school graduation, she never saw Lucas and Ann again. © 2010 Mara-JAuthor's Note
