More than oneA Poem by Maple EllenWhat if we have more then one soul?
I often feel two souls
Reside in my being They are neighbors, I imagine, That have a set picket fence One displays her edges and shouts truths The other is soft spoken and reserved They argue frequently "Who Will be dominate today?" They shout Seldom are the days That have a routine Though, they will take a moment To rest on that picket fence Calling for truce To give them a day of rest During those drifted days, I label as my sabbaths So, rare, but joyous Am I, when I feel truly one © 2017 Maple EllenReviews
