The Frobidden Fruit

The Frobidden Fruit

A Poem by Amanda Naomi
"

ahh..the red delicious!!

"
Fuji’s
And Granny Smith’s
Amongst a Red Delicious.
But what’s this?
The Red Delicious has been bitten!
The Fuji’s and Granny Smith’s
Quickly expel their energies
To repair their dearly loved
Red Delicious.
It is sad to think
The acts that were meant to heal
Only destroyed them in the end.
All because…
Of one bad apple

quite a provoking work, liked it in many ways and going to read more of your work...it wasn't an apple though, all we know is that is was fruit :) sorry had to say.

One bad apple is all it takes to bring down the whole bushel. Lucky the golden delicious green apples didn't hear about this; it gives them a pretty steep moral superiority over the red ones. :)

I know , some of us bad apples
are only bad because we have
been bitten. Some of the Fugi
have been half eaten, but keep it
hidden from the rest of the orchard.
Sometimes it comes from just a gentle
bite, but then every body wants a bite
and it`s all downhill from there.

I think your poem may catch on.
It sure caught on with me.

One Bad Apple, and a lying snake eh? actually that would be a good name for a band One Bad Apple! I think it would be a winner!

Very short, but very nice! The concept and wording reminded me of Snow White for some reason. Not sure where the names came from (I haven't actually read Snow White), but I really liked the theme and wording of it. Very nice and catchy!
