A poem to my In-Laws

A poem to my In-Laws

A Poem by Amanda Naomi
"

a poem for their aniversary..its cheesy and i might rework it to fit my writing style.....

"

Love: in its simplest form

A feeling of deep affection

But what does it mean to love?

To be in love?

Love: in its greatest form

A devotion above all others

But what does it mean to love?

To be in love?

Love for another

To put their needs and wants above one's own

To honor and cherish them

To find happiness in them

Love with each other

To smile when you see their face

To take care of each other

To laugh at the silly things they do

Love: Terry and Merilee

A feeling of deep affection

A devotion above all others

You are what it means to love

You are what it means to be in love

I think you managed the cheese level well on this, finely grated and sprinked over adding just the right amount of taste. :)

Nice poem. It's a great testament of love and consideration that you would write this about in-laws. I wish I thought that about my in-laws, but sadly most of my relatives are people I could rather do without.
