Knowledge

A Poem by Amanda Naomi
"

get that thing away from me!

"
Entrusted with knowledge
Too much knowledge
I don't want it
Take it back
You can't?
Why not?
You gave it to me for nothing
I'm willing to pay you to take it away
You still refuse?
But i don't want it!
I know, I'll give it to someone else
Now they have it
Wait I still have it
What am I supposed to do? I can't get rid of it!
Maybe I'll make myself dumb

....wait.
What was i doing?

Haha, cute poem - and with a relatable message, I think everyone has learned something they wish they could "unlearn". Even though this poem is light-hearted, I think there's a deeper meaning behind it, right? Life seemed easier and happier before we were knowledgable about all of its misery.
