What do you mean?

What do you mean?

A Poem by Amanda Naomi

What do you mean

You don’t know if this’ll work out

What do you mean?

I only gave you my heart

My body is yours

Can you cast me aside so easily?

What do you mean

You call me beautiful, lovely, the one

What do you mean?

You only ask for my heart

My body lays next to yours

Can you hug my body so easily?

What do you mean

You’re trying to love me, its hard

What do you mean?

My love, my only heart

Beats for you in this body

Can you disregard me so easily?

What do you mean?

When someone has no clue the depth of yourself you have shared with him or her, the awesome gift you have given them, it is such a shock to your heart and soul. How can they not be "in this" to the same extent you are? All I can say, is wait a little longer to open yourself up like that, so you KNOW they are worthy. Excellent write!
