Painters

Painters

A Poem by Amanda Naomi
"

just a little nonsense

"

 Two painters left the day

      to paint itself to pieces

So it looks to the colors

     of the birds for wisdom

But these two birds know only

how to sing the day away

So it must find the paint itself

As the day grows weary

it watches the clouds pass overhead

The clouds that try to seize the day

but find they cannot grasp it

At the end of the day

     the painters return

To find the day would have been better spent

if they had shared t together

I like it. Grammar's not too good in places, but I like it!
