Keys

Keys

A Poem by Amanda Naomi

Cool brass
Open and close
Twisting in the secret lock
Revealing what lies behind…hush
don’t tell

Simple
Skeleton key
Dirty with disuse
What secrets can us it tell
When used?

Secret
Small locks it keeps
With secrets in my heart
If found give back to me
Lock it!

I liked it, good work.

This is an interesting poem. I can find a million things it can represent and a million things that could come of the use of such a key. Great job.
