The Life

The Life

A Poem by Amanda Naomi
"

i found this poem amongst some of my writings and i thought it was too good to let it go unnoticed good imagery

"

 the blooming of life-
a rose thought to be alone
but awoke the rest

in that field, one red flower
dew drops clinging like fresh tears

a bolt of lightning
sends a single spark spinning-
a rage of crimson

a firework sending off last
sends a sparkling shadow

shimmering water
an icy mist rises up
cool breeze whispering

silent shallow springs swift
caress the air yearning for life

the warm spring showers falling-
the bright sun comes quickly
to dry the earth around

my skin to be scratched
and my lips to be burned

green turns brown. red
summer breeze begins to ease
water trickles down
