The terror of that awful day
The sadness in the remains

Not knowing the sounds he heard
The death of his little sister

Laying in  bloody mess
Next to his murdered friends
Looking into a gun barrel
Anticipating what never came
Oh God!

No one should have to go through that
Oh God!

The terror of that awful day
The sadness left in the remains

Looking at their daughters life
Finding out her hopes and dreams
Oh God!
She lived to make a better world
Of which her murder brought about
Her writing written just because
Her heart knowing the pain of all
Oh God!

WOW...intense! So sad. I don't really know what to say except I agree...no one should have to go through something like that. I can see this being a song. Very well writen. Great poem! :)
