Forget the Losing Whispers of Your Son

Forget the Losing Whispers of Your Son

A Poem by Amanda Naomi

Come home from winter dreamings One
Return to living lovers waiting by the sea
Forget the loosing whispers of your son

Look skyward and forget the nights unwon
Take hold this heart. My warning pray take heed
Come home from winter dreamings One

The deeds lay dead, they've gone away, it's done
His crying stays a helpless thought with thee
Forget the loosing whispers of your son

As sets the light, the last goodby begun
The sea resounds with our unfailing plea's
Come home from winter dreamings One

Be comfort love, look to heav'ns sun
His spirit trapped now racing to be free
Forget the loosing whispers of your son

The tidy lies and secret tears undone
The drying cusp calls claim to my "Marie"
Come home from winter dreamings One
Forget the loosing whispers of our son
