Me

Me

A Poem by LPS

She said with a big smile on her face and innocence in her voice "I don't believe in psychics". I felt like rolling my eyes because I'd been hearing that for years. I didn't though, I just gave half assed laughed and said "Yeah I could tell, I don't do readings anymore anyway." Then she grabbed my hand and wouldn't let go. "Tell me what you see" she giggled. I let out a big sigh as I felt it all roll over me. I'm drunk right now, not to feel this, I thought to myself. So I told her what I had seen. The innocence in here eyes was quickly replaced with pain. Her face glazed over like she had been struck. She gave a half fake smile and said I have to go. At least maybe she believes now.
