Do Your Best

Do Your Best

A Poem by Mantequilla
"

This is more of a song instead of a poem but you can read it how every you want.

"
knock right off your feet again
feel like things never work
You got a F on a test
Dad said you are a failure
You try your best
It is just not enough
Never give up hope
There always something good to see
never let the enemy get a grip
Never give up heart my friend
keep on fighting till the end
Never let it rest
until you know
you did your best
momma kick you out the house
Living on the streets tonight
but you don't care
you know that you did you best
You kept on trying
Just do you best
never ever let it rest
just tell yourself you'll do you best
Knock right on your feet again
you kept on fight til the end
Over and over you kept doing your best
Never give up hope

Has the sound of a pep talk. Good, I say. In the dark days we need to hear words like these.
