They Didn't Care

They Didn't Care

A Poem by Mantequilla
"

This is a small picture of what my life was like before I was put in to foster care.

"
My Parents didn't care that I was four
They'd leave me all by myself
I cry and cry as they shut the door
My Parents didn't care that I was five
They'd laugh at me when asked for help
They didn't try to keep me a live

Through all these trouble and many more
Is what made the man some adore
As I grow They should see
What I have become to be

This is good! Just a small criticism...
"They didn't wanna keep me a live"
should be
"They didn't wanna keep me alive" ("Alive" is one word)
But other than that, I think that the rhyme is good and the poem...it sends a message! :) Thanks for writing and thanks for sharing!

Kindly, Nix ❤️

You're very welcome!!!
I think you did a god job with the rhymes. Switch the title to they didn't care it makes more sense.
