The Dark Within My Light

 

When was it checked last, for those cosmic reflections

Moment before the silence , when the clearer was withdrawn

A Shadow quivered in haste, moving its pace through the hollow of this night

A lone dark spot danced elegantly, under the very source of my light

 

Not seeking options to fix and complete, dotted lines of emotions

Sadness on deadly prowl silently, accepted all sagacious notions

Outlining in red to mark its spread, across the span only to remain

Between then and now, nothing is left  for choices except the  insane

 

Images left from the eyes of the beholder, to please the starer

Mirrors scarred with bitter lines, cutting through all corners

My light kept glowing, in its constant struggle to reach the surface

But the dark patch of pain, stained stronger seem to win this race

 

Inside the shell this light burns, slowly but the dark shines bare

Where to find the Armour from destiny, to challenge this dare

This accepted peace , of being alive and continue with this delight

As I wondered for ages, around the deepening dark within my light

What a gorgeously woven piece of poetry! Many have deepening dark within their light, others have increasing light within their dark soul. Beautiful.
