I am guessing and hoping this is the right poem .... after the "big" delete things are all anew. I wrote this in June 07.

Just me

me. 

 

I am not perfect and I make mistakes.

just

me.

 

 

A woman, a girl, a little piece of hope.

just

me.

 

Nothing special, but always spectacular.

me. 

 

Ordinary flesh, eyes, heart, and blood.

me. 

 

Someone that cares, some one that gives a damn.

me. 

 

I will not relinquish who I am … not this time, never again.

I like this poem - it sends out an important message... be true to yourself, always. Your feelings and your own personal limitations are okay and right for you... these will shift and change through time, but always honour them... always honour yourself.
