Uncertain

Uncertain

A Poem by Just Manoosh
"

Written in June 07, pre-deletion day, again I am hoping this is the right piece ..........

"

Uncertain

Eastenders, a dirty martini, everything is calm.

Dinners done, the sun is warm, no need to raise alarm.

See perfection, life moves on, the embodiment of poise.

Routine exists, chills in my mind, ignore the background noise.

Red rugs, future goals, sad hidden eyes.

Happy faces, spoiled days, nights in which she cries.

The good life, the bad life, the line in between.

Building blocks, smokey rooms, nothings as it seems.

I have taken to describing the way I feel, you know the moment, right now. God knows why I share it in this forum; perhaps it seems more personal than a blog.

In the moment pieces tend to be intriguing. You get to see into the writer's mind, and anything goes. I feel this way when I read your poem. You chose short, powerful words that made it easy to see the images. Very nice!
