Simple Pimple

 

You need to slow things down,

Do not question what I ask.

Take a breather, look around,

Do not hide behind a mask.

 

Rush rush, more, faster

You pile things on your plate.

Tis pressure that will choke you,

So let it frigging wait.

 

Go on say no… I dare you,

Take some real time out.

Let every other bugger

Cry, scream and shout.

 

Spoil yourself this instance,

Drink wine, take a bath.

Hear the Beatles, tell a joke,

Smile, sing and laugh.

 

Broad shoulders! God who wants them?

An athlete you are not.

Relax for just a little while,

Before you start to rot.
