She Bruises Easily

She Bruises Easily

A Poem by Just Manoosh
"

Written pre deletion day. December 2007.

"

She bruises easily

Tender,

but never weak.

Fine,

but not brittle.

Misjudgement is everywhere,

Argue with your ignorance.

Hope,

she gives openly.

Take,

she ignores pleasantly.

Cruelty plagues her daylight,

Warm tears hide in night rain.

Compassion,

speckles her thoughts.

Kindness,

Skips in her veins.

A lost soul to the cold winds,

She fights on your behalf.

Her,

broken but still fighting.

She,

damaged but not done.

Her soul is wounded but not dead,

but the scars run so very deep.

If this is a small step then I can't wait to read more of your work! This was so touching, I could "feel" the words that you were writing! ~ Kitty
