The Profanity of Humanity

Want, you keep on wanting.

Pray, you keep on praying,

Night sleeping, day sleeping,

Misery will still rise.

For your good, their good,

For no good, you learn the script,

Eyes open, eyes closed,

Sorrow has no disguise

You smile the face of absurdity,

Contrary, counterfeit, crazy,

Left alone, left untouched,

The soul surely dies.

Life, it has no nourishment,

Fear and loathing for direction.

Suppression is regression,

An eternity of lies.

Falling, failing …. foreseen,

Only tragedy moves you forward,

Alone in the darkness forever,

No-one hears her cries.

Want, you keep on wanting.
Good Prayers, of love and Sorrow in disguise

Stories of the feared and loathed
Night Misery's and days that never rise

Never seen, always denied
Picturesq movie spleens and counterfit souls..

I am always one for playing round with things after they have been written... there are nice lines to be found.. always good to read you tiger :}

This made me think about someone who is always reacting vs. planning, putting out fires, vs. foreseeing them. A sad read, especially:

Life, it has no nourishment
Only tragedy moves you forward

It's almost like the person is apathetic, but doesn't want to be, if that makes sense. A little depression mixed in with loneliness...

Emotional and beautiful.

Beautifully written, like a window into my soul. The line 'Only tragedy moves you forward' struck truth inside of me. I am at my worst when things are quiet, but when tragedy strikes - away I go... with no choice but to move forward. When it's over, it's back to the darkness. This is how your piece spoke to me. And because of your honest, emotional writing, we all hear her cries. Thank you.

A very sad emotional piece, and such lonely hurt.
Sometimes when we are hurt writing becomes so hard, because we are a tangle of
emotions..........healing and time, and a belief we will rise.............and writing and writing
until its all out.
