Tainted

Tainted

A Poem by Just Manoosh
"

Written July 2007, pre deletion day, for a competition about the soul, do not read to much into it.

"

Tainted

A giant void, adverse to human touch,

An empty space, once it held so much.

A dismal pit, the deepest darkest bowel,

A prison ship, fetid, soiled and fowl.

This is very poignant. The rhyming is perfect and I like its rhythm on my tongue. Thank you for entering my contest this poem. Nicely done!

makes me think of someone pondering their life. and thinking of doing a total clean-up of all those cobwebs and blood stains.

A very tainted soul....alot of descriptive words making you
really ponder why the soul ended up so damaged!
Thought provoking piece.
