Up in Flames

My little red lighter,

a friend she be.
The damage is done,

far worse by he.

Nice one on this.

Of what my mind has captured on this, the 'he' you were implying was not a guy friend or anyone. But instead it was the cigarette itself.

"My little red lighter, a friend she be."
- oh, Yes yes... lighter, a friend indeed when it comes to being truly useful.

"The damage is done, far worse by he."
- Yes, this is the point of the evil side.

You've made two objects which simply made a perfect match, but had the tendency to lure the weak will of human soul, which by then getting hurt and kill when taken the perfect match into their lives.

I may not be a nicotine lover, but being a caffeine lover doesn't do me any good too :P. I liked this one, short but creative. It makes me think for a second before I had finally jumped into what I thought it was.

Thanks for sharing :)

baby
this is soo sweet.

i think all beginns inside the head.
first one has to have a brain washing by himself.
then one can withstand the first 4 weeks of getting
rid of smoking. it is like with everything. but actually,
i cannot speak, as i'm a non smoker and non drinker and
no drugs for fun. so...i only can say that the aesthetics
of this cute poems are enourmous. so poetic how i love it.

Can but agree with Thea! ... Taking this further than the literal context, one could simply say: Be careful about the consequences of your actions!

You know, I smoked my first cigarette because a guy friend offered it to me one day when I was stressing about my ex boyfriend (who happened to be my first love)...so it's all his fault (my first love's)...haha. Anyway, I can relate to this 100%. Great job, girl!
