DRAMA SANS STORY

DRAMA SANS STORY

A Poem by Unjust Mohan
"

Looking for a book to read while on journey, a person buys one. To his astonishment, the book does not serve the required purpose. Find out why?

"

Drama Sans Story

One person to a bookseller went

Asked for a Drama so time be spent

In good reading, while he travelled

The mysteries of story unraveled

The bookseller many titles suggest

Showed some, after removing dust

The customer at the options looked

Paid for a book to which he hooked

Looking forward to fine entertainment

Left the shop in fast paced discernment

Astonishingly pages after pages he turn

Got nothing but flabbergasted in return

A dramatis personae list in abundance

Plot or story, conspicuous by absence

When back, to the bookseller did he go

In strongest words his resentment show

The shopkeeper did his utmost cool blow

Told the customer, if really did he know

In a hurry, lest he many not miss the train

Forgotten to take the book from counter main

Instead had taken along a telephone directory

Lying there blissfully as our shop’s property.
