ENDLESS RIDE

ENDLESS RIDE

A Poem by Amanda Louise Ellison
"

This poem is about how emotional pain DOES, indeed, cause physical pain. The physical pain caused by losing your first love, maybe your only love, but it was the love you thought you'd have forever. T

ENDLESS RIDE
My mind is on an endless ride.
A ride that's fueled by emotions inside.
My heart is on an endless trip
From the horrid truth that won't leave my lips.
My soul is owned by the tears that I cry.
My heart is enslaved by this life-long lie.
My spirit is engulfed by a glowing fire
That was sparked by my own desire.
My dreams are enticed by unrealistic fantasy.
For me there never existed this specific destiny.
I'm in love with someone who doesn't love me.
I'll forever wonder alone, never to be free.
My passion is lost in the tears that I shed.
My will to live has long been dead.
My love for myself has passed away.
My heart still beats, but I died today.

Did I use correct grammar, such as with "who" or "who"? Really excellent at spelling and grammar, but never could get this one rule straight. Thank you.

Another one I absolutely love! I can feel the emotions in this piece.

Who/whom is a hard one. I think it might be whom, since if you replace it with a pronoun, it would be him/her. Him=whom? I could be wrong haha.

Here I found this website, I don't know if it will help but here ya go: http://www.grammarbook.com/grammar/whoVwhom.asp

I really enjoy your poems. I look forward to more! :)
