Inertia of Existence

Inertia of Existence

A Poem by NyanMeow
"

Existentialist musings

"

We know a fraction of what has been,

An infinite chasm of pathos and logos

Encapsulated as various senses within

An ever evolving scientific binary of knowledge.

And yet we spend our part of forever
On only a fragment of a specific chasm

A calculated choice leading to an endeavor

On which we can rest our intentions.

If you remove thoughts from their essential

Outside of this fairly prescribed narrative

If you wonder upon an unrealized potential

That answer- you’ll hear rehearsed platitudes.

Don’t believe the prescribed dosage of your fraction

Instead seek a fracture, seek the tiny redemption

Don’t give into their infinitely desired distraction

But fight against that perceived inertia.

I'm still just a dabbler in writing. I hope that changes. For now, I have a "day-job" in marketing, waiting for the day writing becomes something that sustains more then just my outlet for my strange .. more..
