Why?

Why?

A Poem by Manda
"

She asks why? Only wishing she knew the answer...

"
I wish I knew the answer
To why you had to go.

***

Why?
I ask...

Why did you do this to him
And not me?

Why did you have to end his life
And not mine?

Why did you make us say goodbye
For the last time

Why did he
Have to die?

I keep asking
Why?

***

I won't ever relive the day
I watched him die

Because...
It makes me cry

***

I'll never know why
He had to die

The heart is what matters. I am no poet and never will I claim to be, but the few poems I have came from my heart so they really mean a lot to me. To me this was a nice write and an excellent expression of your feelings.

I felt as if I was listening to a child asking these "whys" and then that image created pain I empathized with.

It took me a minute to realize you were asking God these questions, but that could have been my fault. ...I do feel that the emotions weren't strong enough in the actual writing piece*. And that depth isn't here. I would have love to FEEL the words as they EXIST and now as to how they are implied or suggested.
Overall,
Good job

Good write. Has a certain 'random' feeling to it. Not like a rant but more just random feelings or thoughts about the whomever.

Sorry but this is actually somewhat empty considering the emotions you suggest you would of exprienced in the situation. Lacking any real cojnnection wioth the situation. And i understand the time must of been hard, but it seems almost like you dont care in this piece.. just a personal view x

Aww, I'm sorry for the loss that you've had to experience. This poem was powerful in the sense that it tackled the questions that so many of us ask during our lifetime, in a way which showed a vulnerable naivety. Great write,

This is a very sad piece to where I have no answer as to why I hope all is well.
Take care

I thought this was sad, but things do happen. You have to accept them. I don't know what else to say...thanks for sharing. :)
