Can't Cry

Can't Cry

A Poem by Manda
"

She just can't cry. Only dying will end this stupid pain inside.

"
I want to cry
Instead of die

I'm sick of hiding
Behind all these lies

I can't buy
My happiness

Nor can I buy the tears
I dread to cry

I continue to lie
And hide

Because inside
It hurts to cry

I just want to die
For I just can't cry

Dying will end
This pain of mine

Then I wouldn't have to hide
Or even lie

I could just die
And not ever cry

I just wish I could cry
Instead of die....

very emotional and so true. the words are almost written as if they are in blood staining a wall. Truthful and painful...and there to stay....excellent work.

Well, when repressed tears freeze into icicles of immobilizing pain, one craves extinction.

Because even the best friend or lover is more of a "fix" than a lasting solution for our inner life struggles, I always recommend getting on the wavelength of the world's great sages, and especially a pondering of Buddha beneath the fig tree.

What melts the pain of stymied emotions is direct compassionate insight into the core contraction common to us all. The good news is we are not merely who we think we are. We are seeking something that is looking through our own eyes.

There is a way to "die" without it being a tragic waste. And that is seeing there is liberating grace and humor in not knowing what anything really is, and finding the spaciousness of natural radically simple contemplation -- attention w/no object but its own breath, that which links the thoughts and feelings of the psychophysical organism.

I have personally felt melting heart tears from seeing true nobility of Spirit -- not seeking salvation in religion, only intuiting that the one who suffers is healed through a mysterious acceptance of Being.

Your healing tears will be of gladness upon contemplation.
