Ah. This just reminded me of a tv show I've been watching. Sometimes there's just this deeper connection that makes loving that person so hard to let go. How long has that first person been in your life. Sometimes it's habit, I think, that makes it tough to really let go.

This is very hard. You really have to just choose the way things go. You either embrace the moment and manage (somehow) to forget the past. It is hard to leave someone else behind, but, you will one day feel that you can embrace yourself and the current person in your life. Best of luck, and I'm quite sorry you have to deal with this.
