Looking Back

I look back and all I can do is think of you, and when we were happily together. I miss you so much a wish everyone knew how much I kneed you.

I look back at we had
And what we loved most
….Each other

We never needed anybody else
We were always so happy together

Oh how I miss you
And the way you used to kiss me

Its been so long since I’ve been in your arms
So long since your lips met mine

My lips long for yours
They wish to meet once more

I hate waiting for you
It causes me too much pain

I cant love anybody like I loved you
You’re just too special to me

I look back and think
Why did we have to say goodbye

Why did I have to go back home
I would have rather stayed with you

I loved you
And I still love you

How could I stop loving you
When you’re all I ever dream about

I look back
And I tell myself I couldn’t be any luckier
To have a guy as wonderful as you

I don't worry too much about grammar but I do worry about the flow of the poem.. I need it to be easy to read.. but most of all that the words feel like they are believable and from the heart. I do get that feeling here..and the flow isn't bad either. Thank you for sharing!
