Dear Rachel

I wrote this poem for a mother who lost her daughter 13 years ago in a car accident

Angels in the sky,

Cast shadows on the ground,

When I want to see her,

All i do is look around.

 

As the wind blows,

Her voice I can hear,

Carried by the breeze,

As she blows kisses,

That I'll get in my dreams.

 

Dear little Rachel,

You are always in my heart,

Every time I seek you,

I know you are not very far.

 

Seeing your angelic face,

Brings tears to my eyes,

Every time you smile,

It lights up my life.

 

So now my dear little angel,

Remember you are always in my life,

And every time I think of you,

I begin to cry.
