Little Rose

Little Rose

A Poem by Kindred Spirit
"

Just a love poem I made

"
I once picked up a small delicate rose
That I wanted to give to a girl I thought really glowed
With a smile that could made my heart beat fast for while.
I walked up to her and handed her the flower
and invited her to sit down for an hour.
But as soon as I gave her my heart
she already set out to depart.
I then decided to take a walk
down the road leading up to the tennis park.
When I saw another rose
with half torn petals blowing while the wind was roaring.
It died the next day, leaving no debris in its way.
The same goes for me for as long as we are apart
there will be no way for me to fix my heart.
