Revelation

Revelation

A Poem by Manche

How many lives will it take,
to fill the void, never to awake;
in body of water, with hands of clay,
out of the furnace, state of decay,
the structure of bones, four pillars of man,
written in stone, high above the land,
stood temple of gold, through gates of ram,
beneath the sky, blood of the lamb,
over the mountains, on the strand,
out of the burrow,
chisel in sand.
