I should not have eaten that...

I should not have eaten that...

A Poem by C. MacCormack

There are knives in my intestines
I fear my time is running short
The pain is coursing down my abdomen
I go to push, then I abort
I'm running for the bathroom now
I can't believe it came to this
I try to recall what I ate
As my sphincter starts to hiss
IT'S EVIL! I ate a demon!
And it's trying to escape
I start asking for God's mercy
But he tells me it's too late
Finally, the ordeal is over
Though my tears may still flow
I pray no man will endure
The torture I now know.

About
Writing has always been therapeutic to me. Speaking my emotions is harder than spilling them onto paper with pen. I also write small stories for my children. more..
