A Poem by Mallory Jen
"

I just put this up so as to transfer it to my computer...

"

never wanted today

I never wanted our moments to be like this

But they sure as hell were

I never wanted out love life to be so boring that we need

Mirrors on wall and rolling tap to make it seem like the love we made

Was falling, something

Was falling

Until we fell apart

I only wanted to love you

Simply and completely like mm.

Mm mm yeah…

Like something

mmm… yeah

Just like that

I never wanted life to be

The complicated puzzle we make it seem

I never wanted to have to choose

Between my love and my life

But I had to do something with one of you

Dear dearest one my soul can’t breath

Dear you asked me to be a different girl,

To make this work

But don’t you see

I like to drink late at night

You like to debate about my reasons why

This is who I am and you knew that

Why bring this up now?

You knew me, after you asked me

To forever always be

Why a ring we seem to believe

Changes everything

When everything, can’t you see
