Finality

Finality

A Poem by MalkavianDelirium
"

The end rolls on and on and on

"

Blackened, broken,

twisted, groaning.

The universe falls down,

amongst the ashes, leaving,

concerns and conceits,

all fleeting. Who are we,

I wonder, to oppose this,

natural order?

Truth be told, I'm worried;

watching galaxies colliding,

worlds and suns of self importance,

crashing down into the seas.

No man is an island, lover,

it takes a village, to resist,

and to survive. But we have none,

no one, naturally.

We all fall down.

Into the black holes of,

our sanity, our refuge in audacity.

We weep and worry, wanderlusting,

all for what has come and gone.

We're travelling through time, again,

and hoping we can see the end,

of all these bitter accidents,

encountered at the end of days.

This is amazing, Marcus. I love how the flow causes the reader to spiral down just as suggested in this dark write. My favorite part:

"We weep and worry, wanderlusting,
all for what has come and gone."

So true. Well done!
