Confessions

Confessions

A Poem by MalkavianDelirium
"

Forgive me...Have I sinned?

"

Maybe I'm just getting old,
so broken by the midweek,
longing for an ending,
stories gone on far too long,
i think, perhaps, it's lost it's message.
Or I may have just stopped talking.

Should I go on? Tell me

Please. Correct me if I'm wrong,
I'd hate to fudge the numbers,
smudging up the details of,
time and times together, oh lets,
tell it like it is now lover.
Don't tell me you loathe being,
oh so honest, though truthfully,
i must confess, I'm not quite so fond,
of it myself. Aren't we a pair?

Do I insult? Oh I think not.

We're far beyond just trading words,
or blows like dirty money,
laundering our sins and vices,
bartered for familiar prices.
Self confessed co-criminals,
forever we're evadign justice,
aren't we such a show,
exhibition for the starving artists,
speak of love in riddles, rhyme,
all ruined by reckless planning.
