A bit too much

A bit too much

A Poem by Rachel

Life is becoming a bit too much.
So much tragedy. You look to your right and there’s a fight, you look to your left and there’s the rest. Chaos every which way you turn. Trying to find the light of things, that last bit of hope that you cling too. Is it enough? Screams in your head. Falling to your knees.
You were the girl who cared too much. The girl who forgave, forgave, forgave. The girl who would reach out and pull them out of the pit. You are now falling into the pit. Trying to crawl out, holding onto that bit of hope, is it enough? Screams in your head. Falling to your knees reaching up. Ahhhhhhhh! Screaming out to the world. Is it enough! Am I not enough? Ahhhhh! Why couldn’t you save me, I kept saving you. You kept pulling me down. I tried holding on.
I really really tried. I am tired and weary. It’s all become to heavy. Life is becoming a bit too much.
