A Poem by Rachel

Look at me now
I'm not that week girl you use to know.
I've picked up all the broken pieces.
You can't hurt me any more.

You took away my everything
I gained the strength.
I'm not who I use to be.
I'm stronger.

Look at me now
I'm better than you.
I'm at the too of the world
Jus look at me
No more pushing me around.

I'm up off the ground
I'm standing high and proud.
You, yeah you
You can't hurt me anymore.

I'm going to sing it at the top of my lungs
La, la, la, la
I am free
No longer your slave.
Oh baby I'm free
No longer your slave

You can't shove me around
I'm no longer under your control
I broke free from your chains.
I'm singing, dancing.
You can't hurt me anymore.

Sometimes the only way we can reach our hidden strengths is when we have been broken first. Your exquisite write demonstrates this fact most appropriately – very well written!
