Abusive MuseA Poem by MalenI can't seem to pick it out of my mind. Writing and writing, line by line Grasping as it slips away. Treacherous, you have begun my decay. Twisting me tight, suffocating my thought- Processes, forcing my taste in fate. Satisfaction has become my murderous plan. Won't you please just let go again? Taunting at my willingness. Controlling my navigated abyss. Jesting in gestures, flooding sound. I'd be much happier once you have drown. Another ink cartridge depleted But my heart is still beating Like a vampire you keep feeding. Dug in deeply upon my vein, As I keep digging deeper to release this pain. Another story awakes, with ill intended fate. But this time, it won't be me. No, it won't be me. This time I'll drown you deeper you see. Manically, I dig deep e'er deeper Until the vein you depend on Becomes the ink fountain I have depleted. © 2015 Malen |
