Secrets

Secrets

A Poem by Malen

Softly echoed upon my ear.
In lush moments you appear.
Teasing my taste, displaced.

Covered in nights caress.
A thousand reasons undressed.
Her unmasked empire, repressed.

Candles light the night.
Mixing in holy twilight.
Frankincense clouding sight.

It's here, in tender need.
Where she takes heed.
To disclose everything.

Father forgive me ...
An unwrapping of sin.
As she begins, confession.

This is absolutely fantastic. The form and evocative word choices fit so perfectly with the title of the piece.
