Do Lips DecieveA Poem by MalenA coldness surrounding, chilled. She met them once before, In a moment of prestige. Her eye caught in their shape. An overwhelmed urge to taste. Unsure what was around. Like an angel singing, stilled. She lost her head in gaze Eyes no longer seeing shape. Left to beg for any taste. In walked the man with lips unopened Everything unmoving - a moment, a breath. Heavy rose her chest, unmoving. How do I speak, if addressed? Her thoughts pressed. As the faces began to fade. Eerily, her only focus, unswayed. A summoning of her soul, indisposed. A pull into gesture. His whisper - What is your pleasure? A melting moment, heated by fate. Fingers fumbling around nothing. Realizing her place, unforgiving. Composing with haste, maybe just a taste. With fear filled eyes, her grace falls. As his full lip gestures undress her faith. A mere collide in quest, er conquest. Awoken, broken, head cools. Mademoiselle, what lay you still? Her eyes open, faces of maidens surround. Fanning face, bustier loosened, aiding her to stand. Her lips shadowed blue as skin fell pale. Her lungs refuse to hold air. An image of him, dances within. As she wails to release, the tease unpleased. Deceit! The first word from her lips. Fallen to his supplicant kiss. No longer pure, a tainted heart. One with whom she couldn't part. © 2015 Malen |
