Self-Realization

Self-Realization

A Poem by Malen

Bending fate to satiate
Once ripped a part
A heart, a heart

Hung on slim wire
beating dire
A heart, a heart

Narrowed eyes searching
What soul is lurking
For heart, for heart

A sudden whirling
A gasp unnerving
My heart! My heart!

Sometimes we are shocked to discover ourselves and certainly when we have felt lost. Great write.
