Angel

Angel

A Poem by Malcolm Reynolds
"

The angel by my side

"
Carried your treasures in my chest,
a lifetime since I saw you,
the sun lost the moon,
I still can't find anyone quite like you,
The source of my lifes river,
A flow that never ends.

Tattoed over my heart,
I pulled bows on your yellow top,
Kiss my lips to stop the cigarettes,
a pink umbrella in the storm,
an angel wearing devil horns,
Sheffield to Leicester just to embrace,
A pink heart ring,
But it wasn't enough.

We argued and we fought,
We always made up,
Best years of my life,
an angel by my side.

Your mind in my heart,
How did we drift apart,
Best years of my life,
an angel by my side.

I have high hopes that if this poem is true for you that your long lost friend will show up again, before death I hope!

Best of luck to you.

Regards,
Gabe
