You will like what you see

You will like what you see

A Poem by Meowllory
"

A poem directed to a guy who rejects you. Written about my first rejection.

"

I liked you for you

You liked me for me

But not the way I wanted it to be.

 They are so pretty

They are so beautiful

But when they break your heart

Who do you come running to?

They don't pick up the pieces

Or wipe away the tears

They don’t wish away your sorrows

They don't wish away your fears

They aren't your shoulder to cry on

They aren't your helping hand

I try to make it all go away

I try to help you stand

 But you will go back

Thinking that it's different

But they are all the same

No matter how much I try to stop it

Eventually your heart will be hurt

Black and rotted with despair

Yearning for someone to love

But no one will be there

That day you will see me for me

Maybe then you will like what you see...
