Games

A Poem by MakeshiftRose
"

You play games. All kinds of games. Video games, board games. And head games, too.

"
You play games.
All kinds of games.

Video games, board games.
And head games, too.

Sometimes I think
They're your favorite kind of game.

Head games -
You play them often enough.

More than your Xbox,
And more than your Playstation.

You always win
When you play these nasty head games.

Is that why you play them so much?
Because you always win?

No one knows the rules;
There are no rules.

Is that why head games
Are your favorite kind of game?

Do you play them with everyone,
Or just with me?

I know I'd wanted something special,
Something for just us two.

But this was no
What I'd meant.

I had wanted something real.
But instead you gave me lies.

Nothing but lies
To the unwilling player
In your never-ending head game.

I really like this, I think some people can relate to this; knowing someone who thinks life is a game and views other people as entertainment.
Life's not a game and you don't get extra lives and neither does anyone else so stop playing head games.
