Roleplaying GameA Poem by MakeshiftRoseLet's play a game. A roleplaying game. I will be the one who stands above everyone, My nose high in the air. You can be the one who crawls on your knees, Begging to be left alone.Let's play a game. A roleplaying game.
You be me, And I'll be you.
You can be the girl Who cries herself to sleep
every night.
I will be the girl Who's heart is nothing more
than a black hole.
It sucks the love out of
people's lives, Bringing them to their knees
in surrender.
I will be the one who stands
above everyone, My nose high in the air.
The one who takes all the
joy out of the day, Candy from a baby.
You can be the one who
crawls on your knees, Begging to be left alone.
Mercy isn't granted. It never is.
But that's just how I am. Because I'm pretending to be
you.
It doesn't feel good, Does it?
Having someone stomp on you
everyday, Their designer high heels
crushing your soul.
Your spirit crumples into a
million pieces Too tiny to be pieced back
together.
Want me to stop? Too bad.
But that's what happens When you roleplay. © 2013 MakeshiftRoseReviews
