Absolute Perfection

The poem explains it all - My life became (what is known as my definition of..) perfect, when *you walked into my life.

Absolute Perfection <3

 

 

As the days drag on,

The world drains the energy out of me.

I look towards the horizon,

But there’s nothing left to see.

 

I will not succumb (give in),

I know I will find my righteous heft (stronger side of me).

For I am looking for that one,

To heal all that is left.

As new days arise,

A feeling overcomes me (when you walked into my life),

There is no more to revise,

I am happy, can’t you see?

 

As the sun shines down,

Bringing rays to rest on the beauty of a natural face,

There is nothing but a sound,

To heal what was once known, as a burdened place.

 

This sound, a quiet whisper spoken…

“You’re perfect.”

 

In a world of imperfections,

There’s you.

I like the desire and the purpose of this poem. Sometime we are the hardest on our self.

I loved the fact that the perfection circled around that one person. It's true, imperfections create us, and we should embrace individuality. A nicely written and composed poem. :)
