Can you sense him Nimah?” “No I can not see him but, I can sense he is nearby. He is getting closer. We can not do this. He is too strong now. He will get rid of us easily. Do you know where the others are?” Nimah asked trying to remain hidden. “I see Nikolas. He is signaling to me that he doesn’t see him. He doesn’t look good. He is bleeding badly. We need to help him. How are you faring?” he asked. “I am losing a lot of blood and rapidly brother. We need to find Aella. She is the only one that can help us.” Nimah muttered coughing up blood. “She is probably the only one that can match his power and make a stand. It will take all seven of us to stop him in his tracks. Where is he now Nimah?” asked Tao. “H..He..He disappeared. That’s Impossible. He can not be dead. It can not be that easy, can it?” she said. “He is full of tricks. I wouldn’t count on him being dead. I didn’t know we COULD die. We are all supposed to be equal. How do you think he got so strong?” Tao asked wiping blood off of Nimah’s face. “We need to make our way to Nikolas and then we need to find Aella. Can you run Nimah?” “I suppose if I have to run then I can. I guess it would be better to run as I still can not sense where he is anymore. He has either been killed, which is an unlikely outcome, or he has moved too far out of my sense. The only other possibility is more dreadful.” Nimah expressed while coughing up blood and wincing in pain. “What is the other possibility Nimah?” Tao asked. “The only thing I can think of is that…” she trailed off her speech. “Spit it out Nimah. What’s the other possibility!?!?” “Well, I think I am dying. I…I am losing too much blood. You have to seal the wound until we find Aella. Otherwise I will not make it over to Nikolas” she said softly. “I can’t do that you fool. Id hurt you worse than what he has done already. Even if I wanted to, which I don’t, I can’t stomach doing that to you” he said strongly. “If you do not do it then I will die before we make it to Nikolas. We need to get to him and help him as well. We are wasting time talking here. Just do it!” she screamed. “Shut up. Do you want him to find us? Where is your biggest wound? I only will do one because the longer I do it the more pain you will be in” Tao said. “The biggest one is on my lower right back. He got a good hit with that damn dagger of his. He missed me with the sword. Maybe he was right. Were we wrong to not side with him? Should we have agreed with him?” she asked lowly. Tao threw his sword on the ground and helped Nimah lift her shirt off. It was bright red and soaked from all the blood that was gushing out of her back. He threw the shirt on the ground. “No. We weren’t wrong. Just because someone doesn’t agree with your point of view doesn’t mean you turn into a psychopath. Well he was already a psycho. We made the right choice even if it means we have to die protecting everything it’s a choice that I made. You made the same choice. Aella made the same choice. We chose the right side. Now shut up. You need to close your eyes and think of the happiest thing that you can because this is going to hurt very badly. I know there will be pain but remember, we need to be as quiet as possible,” he whispered. “Fine. Give me my shirt so I can bite on it. Just make it as fast as possible so we can get to Nikolas. He will be in the same predicament if we do not hurry” she said. Tao rolled up his sleeves and placed his hands near the lower part of her back. He started chanting and then his hands started glowing. “Flames [s1] el sceanm si co ca seal sa floock thop, flames el sceanm si co ca seal sa floock thop.” Blue flames started covering his hands. “OK. Here I go. I’m going to start at the bottom and work my way to the side. This should also kill any poison that may have been on his blade. You know how he likes his tricks.” He started muttering again. This time the flames got stronger. He placed his hands directly on her back. The flames were searing the wound shut while she was crying and screaming into her shirt. He worked his way around to the side of her body muttering words while keeping contact with her skin. The smell of flesh and blood filled the cave they were hiding in. “I’m almost done Nimah. I’m going to give you my shirt. When I’m done we need to move fast because if he is nearby and somehow hiding his presence he will have smelled the blood by now,” he said while sealing her wound shut. “Put this shirt on and get ready to move fast,” he whispered while grabbing his sword off the ground and peeking outside. “Nimah, grab your bow and let’s hightail it out to Nikolas. We can’t wait any longer,” he said. “I am ready. Let us hurry. I tried to sense him again and I caught a faint presence from someone but it was not him. Whoever it was they are coming this way and fast. We must be wary of our surroundings,” Nimah whispered back. Nimah and Tao darted out of the cave towards where Nikolas was lying on the ground near some bushes. Running towards him they could hear screeching. Tao turned around and muttered words. “Fleem[s2] !” he yelled. His hands emitted flames once more and he raised a flame from his hand towards where the noise came from. His flames caught some tree branches and the trees caught fire. “Keep running Tao. Whatever it is, it is insignificant to whatever pain and suffering he will make us feel. We need to fix Nikolas and the others. We only have a chance if we stick together,” Nimah screamed while turning around to put out the fire. She raised her hand and made the earth swallow the trees. The fire was out but smoke was everywhere. It was hard to see anything. “We need to save our energy to fight him. There is someone else near us. A man. Maybe one hundred feet away but quickly approaching,” Nimah stated while notching three arrows on her bow, ready to fire at a moment’s notice. At the same time Tao unsheathed his sword and whispered and ran his hand down the flat of the blade. “Tlet[s3] oo so seel si floonn,” he whispered. Black flames shot down the blade from the hilt and encased the blade in its flames. Suddenly, someone started coming into view, limping holding a trident, choking on the smoke that was created from the burning trees. Nimah released the arrows she had notched and Tao swung his blade sending a wave of fire towards the unannounced person. The stranger had to dive to the ground to avoid being pierced. The shadowy figure quickly got up. He jumped and slammed the trident into the ground sending a wave of water towards his attackers. The fire dissipated and knocked his attackers to the ground. “Is it your policy to attack everyone that may wander across your path or is it just the ignorance of a brother and sister that should be conserving their power for the real enemy. It isn’t like you two would ever be enough to do away with me anyway. Im much more talented that you Tao. Nimah might be able to stand a chance but I doubt for long, and in her current state, I would say she stands no chance against me,” the man said with a hearty chuckle. “Damn you Bahari. We could have killed you. We took it easy with you. We were trying to wound not kill. You should have announced yourself,” Tao said angrily. “I think all this fighting has driven you insane if you think that. You could never beat me. I always have bested you in any form of combat. Have any of you seen Alexa or Aella?” Bahari asked. “I lost them not twenty minutes ago when that b*****d took us by surprise.” “No I haven’t seen either of them. Have you seen Yher?” asked Tao while kneeling alongside Nikolas. Tao checked to make sure that he was still alive. His breathing was deathly shallow but he was hanging on with all his might. “Bahari I need your help. I am going to seal the wounds of Nikolas but it will be very painful and you don’t look to be that hurt. I need you to apply water while I burn the poison away and seal him up” commanded Tao. “Nimah, keep watch. Let us know if you sense anything coming so we can be prepared” he said. Nimah placed her palm against the earth to feel for vibrations. “Ptel[s4] tennim tlet oo so ianson el sceanm ut,” she whispered over and over. She could feel nothing new other than her brothers behind her. “Do it now. I do not sense him or anyone for that matter. Now is our opportunity.” Tao ripped the breastplate off Nikolas and turned him over. He placed his hands on the back of him and started muttering while flames started to burn his body. “Flames el sceanm si co ca seal sa floock thop, flames el sceanm si co ca seal sa floock thop.” At the same time Bahari threw the trident down and from the back of his neck muttered words. “Scop[s5] heal so flames si healing. Encase so santo to healing scop.” He made a flow of continuous water cover the body of Nikolas. “I have bad news Tao. It’s very bad,” said Bahari slowly. “What is it Bahari? It can’t be worse than our brother turning into a murderous lunatic. It can’t be worse than the fact that our sister left us to die,” Tao said with a clenched jaw. “Yher is dead. I saw him do it myself. Aella, Alexa, and I were fighting him and Yher tried to sneak up on him and he somehow sensed her. While defending against us, he waited until she got closer and then disappeared. He reappeared a few seconds later, and when he did, he cut her throat with that damn dagger. Then he used that sword to impale her. He took her life force. After we saw that we couldn’t move. We were too shook to move. It didn’t take long to lose that feeling. He went after Alexa first. He hit her pretty good but you know how strong she is. She appeared to feel nothing, no pain, but the force of the attack was so strong it knocked her away like she was a twig. He went after Aella next. She blocked every attempt to cut her down, until he called those bats, and he had an opening and he cut her bad. She ran like the wind and I don’t blame her. She sent a message to me though, saying she would be back. She said there was two more like us hiding and she was gonna find them. That’s when he came after me. I was no match for him. My domain is the sea. But I got away, or rather he let me get away. He was searching for someone. I think he was looking for Aella. She is the biggest threat to him. Without her, we would all fall like dominoes,” said Bahari. “Let’s finish healing Nikolas and find Aella and Alexa. We have to stop him. He is going to destroy everything that we have built. We need to make sure that what we created does not die” he said forcibly holding back tears. Hours later, nikolas woke up. He didn’t move. He just layed there looking around to see where he was. He looked to the left and saw Nimah resting. Next to Nimah was Tao. He looked to his right and Bahari was sitting there. “About time you woke up brother. We need to get a move on and find Alexa and Aella. Did you know there was two others that are just like us? Did Aella ever mention that to you?” “Yes Bahari, I know of the two others. But when I saw them they weren’t like us. They were different. I thought I was crazy. Aella and I were hunting. Suddenly, a pair of dragons flew overhead and flew into a cave. We went after them but it took us almost half the day. We got to the cave they flew in and peeked in. inside I saw a red dragon and a purple dragon. The red dragon was bigger though. They smelled us as soon as we got there. They knew we were there.” “Well obviously they were friendly otherwise you wouldn’t be here right now,” Bahari uttered. “I wouldn’t go as far as to say they were friendly, but they were very careful of us. They made sure that they could see us the entire time. Aella spoke first. She asked where they came from. How many more there was. How long they’ve been there. They answered but in a weird language. That’s when things took a turn for the insane. They are like us according to them. They turned into beings like us.” “Wux re filki hefoc udoka. tir wux ti jinthil svabol shinalta. svabolen ir re wux? Svabol re dout ominaki?” asked the red dragon. “We don’t understand. What language is that you speak?” asked Nikolas. A flash of light and the red dragon turned into a human looking being. “I asked you the names that you go by. Do you remember how you ended up here on this planet?
Stars exploded as they flew through the sky. These explosions caused a catalytic chain of events. These stars were filled with life and knowledge and power. They fell to the water burning. This burning caused water to evaporate and steam rose. When the steam cleared, there was land masses everywhere. But that was not the most peculiar thing. On the ground, there lay eight bodies. Four men. Four women. © 2018 Majin BuuAuthor's Note
