Wonderful winter

Wonderful Winter
Snowflakes fall dreamily like shimmery glitter,
the ground is covered with a heavy white quilt,
because of course it’s winter.
The sun reflects brightly on the moist shiny snow,
shimmery ice has frozen where a crystal lake used to
flow.
Now children skate where the shiny ice froze,
bright red noses and ice cold toes.
Isn’t winter wonderful?
