The duck without a quackA Story by MajixThe story is about Friendship and Hope. A young duckling with no voice is watched by two close friends, the Sun and the Moon. Its good old fashioned story with a cheerful ending.Once upon a time, when animals didn’t mind,’ was a duckling called Martin. He was born in spring when all the birds would sing. Unfortunately, Martin had no voice .It wasn’t his choice. His mother was certainly worried, although not married. The sun was delighted but the moon was not excited. All the stars hid themselves even those dazzling seashells. “Enough of this commotion,” moon cried with a boom. It looked like the party ended too soon. “You make fun of a poor duckling,” said moon, “who lost his quack. I demand that you stop this nonsense or else I’ll be very tense.” “We’ll see about that”, said sun. He left a quite an impact, there he was done. It was night and all the fireflies were alight. Some where in the forest, the little duckling was in tears. Nothing gave him cheer. Martin made his own compelling wish. Not be roasted dish but to have his voice. He then slowly walked back to his home, where he belongs. He closed his sleepy eyes while his mother said, “good night.” The next day, as in every day, something astonishing that made Martin’s mother start to dance had happened. It was wonderful miracle. Martin had his voice back and he finally quacked. Some where in space, the moon was very pleased and all the stars were at ease. Sun felt happy for the little fellow and said, “I’m sorry moon .I acted to soon. I didn’t feel a bit of compassion for martin.” “It’s alright. I forgive you, sun .Now let’s have some fun,” announced moon. The stars twinkled and the moon winkled, for it was a happy hour. The sun joined the party, for no longer was he sour. Martin was very happy that day because everything was Okay. © 2013 Majix |
